We are looking for a shipping planner
Job Description :
Are you an organizational talent with a passion for logistics? We are looking for an enthusiastic planner to join our team!
What We Expect from You :
Efficient Communication : Maintain close contact with shipping lines via email, phone, and internet to ensure smooth operations.
Software Management : Keep our software package updated with the latest information.
Booking Units : Book units at various docks efficiently.
Route Planning : Collaborate with planning and customer service to schedule the most economical shipping routes.
Attention to Detail : Ensure each port is always equipped with the correct empty containers.
Administrative Excellence : Execute tasks swiftly and accurately.
Customs Processes : Monitor customs-related processes to facilitate smooth unit shipments. Candidate Profile :
Do you have a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience?
Do you have proficiency in MS Office?
Are you fluent in English (written and spoken) and do you have basic knowledge of Dutch?
Do you have strong Communication Skills and Organizational Skills and are you able to prioritize effectively?
Are you willing to work in 2 dayshifts from monday till friday between 6 : 00 AM and 6 : 36 PM?
Experience in the Transport Sector or Geographical Knowledge of Europe is a Plus
