To strengthen its team and support the strong growth of its European Distribution Center, our client is looking for a Director of Operations.

Your new role

As the Director of Operations, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and focus on achieving operational results. Your role involves effectively creating strategic objectives and translating them into specific operational and tactical goals, in line with the company's budgetary principles, for all operational departments. You will develop quarterly and annual operational business plans, implement key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluation tools to lead your teams. In this approach, you will adopt a long-term vision and advocate for continuous process improvement.

As a true leader, you will adapt your leadership style to achieve objectives while creating a positive work environment conducive to performance improvement and employee well-being. Your ability to motivate and develop your teams is essential to achieving operational excellence.

Your role as Director of Operations requires great versatility and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment. This key role requires a unique combination of skills in operational management, leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement, all while respecting the company's safety standards and budgetary objectives.

Your profile

• Experience : Successful experience of more than 5 years in a management position within a high-end technology / automated warehouse or production site.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in WMS, WCS, or similar systems, and AS400. Comfortable with the Office Suite. Knowledge of ERP systems is essential
• Leadership : Charismatic leader and role model of exemplarity. Positive, attentive, and a team player who establishes a positive and trusting culture.
• Innovation : Promotes well-being and encourages creativity and innovation.
• Customer and Results-Oriented : Communicates effectively with collaborators and colleagues to achieve company objectives.
• Negotiation Skills : Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage conflicts.
• Flexibility : Resistant to pressure and willing to work in teams / variable schedules according to operational needs.
• Change Management : Experience with change management is crucial.
