Description du poste

Incorporated in Wallonia, BESIX Power SA is the sustainable investment arm of the group, investing in renewables and energy storage projects in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and the Netherlands. BESIX Power offers an integrated approach across the entire project lifecycle (from development to a long-term investment strategy) to develop and successfully build a local green energy ecosystem.

In the context of its growing activities, BESIX Power is looking for a new talent to complement its team. The offered contract is an Explort+ contract, sponsored by AWEX aiming at accelerating BESIX Power growth in France and abroad. You will be working in quasi autonomy (after an onsite incubation of 2-3 months) and part of a young, dynamic and fast-growing business team.

Key responsibilities : you will contribute to BESIX Power SA growth in France.

GIS Mapping & Development Site Identification
Electrical Grid Analysis
Energy Market Research
Policy Assessment
Identify and initiate new projects
Regular presentations of our activities and services to potential electricity buyers (On-site visits)
Participating to relevant local events and fairs or working groups on behalf of BESIX group
Manage local communities, citizens, organizations, landowners and subcontractors
Designing Solar installations and projecting solar yields

For this progressive position based in Paris, you may be required to travel to project sites throughout France.

Qualifications

You have recently graduated with a Master's degree in Engineering with focus on the energy sector;

A small experience in developing Solar projects is a plus;

You are available to start immediately and fully committed until at least December 2025. Successful completion of the internship may result in an offer for a permanent contract.

You are curious and rigorous, you're dynamic and proactive, you can act independently, you have a sense of responsibility, and good interpersonal skills;

You have strong communication and negotiation skills with an eye for detail;

You speak French and have a good knowledge of English. An additional language is a plus;

You have a “can do” mentality with independent problem solving skills;

Convinced by the importance of developing renewable energies, you are also able to collect, synthesize and exploit data with a geographical component;

A capacity for running financial models to understand project returns is desirable;

You hold a valid driver's license (Category B) and own a car.
