The Job :

As the B2B Director , you will spearhead the commercial development of our B2B Energy business, focusing on expanding our presence with Business Customers across Belgium. You’ll leverage your strategic sales expertise and customer relationship skills to take our growth to the next level. With your entrepreneurial spirit and data-driven decision-making , you will navigate a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to change, and help shape the future of energy solutions for our business clients. Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Commercial Development :

  • Lead the strategic direction and growth of the B2B Energy supply portfolio in Belgium, with a focus on scaling business performance and market share.
  • Develop and execute high-impact strategies to expand the customer base through both client retention and acquisition, ensuring sustained revenue growth and profitability.
  • Drive innovation in B2B offerings, identifying opportunities for product enhancements and new solutions that meet evolving customer needs while ensuring quality services and customer satisfaction.

Client Engagement & Market Intelligence :

  • Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, sales partners, and key stakeholders through regular visits and engagements, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform business decisions, staying ahead of competitive trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving issues in collaboration with internal departments, including Customer Care and Credit & Collection.
  • Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management :

  • Oversee the development and management of a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a balanced mix of inbound and outbound prospecting and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales results and KPIs to ensure targets are met, implementing corrective actions when necessary to sustain growth and profitability.
  • Lead efforts to grow the external B2B sales networks, including contracting, onboarding, and controlling partners to achieve high-quality lead generation and sales execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between top management and the B2B sales teams, ensuring transparency in communication, alignment on objectives, and reporting on key sales metrics.
  • Digital Transformation & Process Improvement :

  • Lead the continuous improvement of digital tools and sales processes, particularly related to quotes, contracts, commission calculations, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Champion the adoption of new technologies and data-driven methodologies to enhance sales efficiency, customer insights, and decision-making.
  • Profitability & Cost Optimization :

  • Drive improvement in key profitability KPIs, including churn rates, bad debt management, and operational expenses (OPEX), ensuring sustainable and healthy margins across all sales channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit & Collection team to ensure efficient risk management and secure client payments.
  • Work with finance and executive teams to set and monitor budgets, forecast performance, and optimize costs without compromising.

  • Education : University degree (business, commerce or related field).
  • Experience : Proven experience (minimum 7 to 10 years) as a sales manager / director, ideally in the energy sector or in a startup.
  • Language : Fluency in French or Dutch and strong English skills.
  • Strong leadership , sales and customer relationship management skills. You love selling and have excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
  • You are actions and results-oriented .
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to make strategic decisions .
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, resourcefulness, ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
