This team is building cutting-edge travelling-wave modulators that underpin the future of data transmission, across telecom and next-gen AI infrastructure. They’re blending electronics and photonics in ways most labs only talk about. And they need an experienced RF Design Engineer to take the lead.
What you’ll be doing :
You’ll join a specialist photonics R&D team focused on silicon photonics innovation, with tasks including :
- Designing RF elements (travelling line, Baluns, biasing, terminations)
- Evaluating different material systems and optical effects (Pockels, plasma dispersion)
- Creating equalization techniques to enhance device bandwidth and manage dispersion
- Interfacing with driver, test, and processing teams to co-engineer complete solutions
- Driving the layout, testing, and validation of integrated photonic circuits
