The intention is for this person to participate in analyses and system design for the establishment of specific data towers for different domains within the enterprise.

A broad general technical knowledge (Databases, Application design, Data Modeling, Scheduling & Orchestration), and the willingness to also dive hands-on into the data is necessary.

Responsibilities :

Assist project stakeholders in capturing significant functional and non-functional requirements.

Clearly understand and document system boundaries (scope) and driving requirements.

Translate business problems into phased solution designs.

Define solution design, detailing architectural decisions and stakeholder views.

Validate architectural decisions, mitigate risks, and gain formal approval for designs.

Communicate solution architecture to business and IT stakeholders.

Ensure implementation adheres to principles, policies, and standards.

Provide project manager support during delivery, offering hands-on guidance.

Act as integration analyst in complex E2E projects, deliver Integration POCs, and manage E2E integration tests.

Contributing to IT architectural principles and guidelines with the Enterprise Architect

Requirements :

Proven communication skills in technical and business language

Customer-focused approach across all job aspects

Strong collaboration with onshore, nearshore application development, production, and business teams

Skillful at building team consensus

Highly motivated to excel in challenging and evolving environments

Enthusiastic about continuous learning and adaptation

Demonstrates creativity and analytical thinking

Capable of process-oriented thinking

Functions effectively both independently and collaboratively

Excellent problem-solving aptitude

Current knowledge of modern architectural principles

Theoretical understanding of domain-driven design principles, with a preference for hands-on DDD experience

Demonstrated senior-level technology proficiency

Experienced in modeling techniques (e.g., story mapping, event storming)

Willingness to engage with various project methodologies

Passionate about staying updated with evolving technologies

Good knowledge of English is necessary, knowledge of French and / or Dutch is a plus

At least a master degree in Information Management or equivalent by experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in the role of a solution architect, senior analyst or software development manager and a proven track record of at least 3 years in IT within a data driven, software development or -integration oriented organization.

Experience within processes of logistics service provider is a major plus

You have preferably a technical background in programming

You have a proven track record within the ICT domain related to software development, system integration, (enterprise) architecture, data modelling
