Job description

Are you a skilled DataOps Engineer ready for your next adventure? Amaris Consulting is on the lookout for a motivated individual with a strong background in data operations, machine learning operations, or development operations to join our Data & AI Center of Excellence in Brussels. This is a great opportunity for professionals with keen analytical abilities, a strong technical sense, and excellent communication skills.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and delivery.
  • Implement monitoring systems and troubleshooting protocols to quickly identify and resolve pipeline issues.
  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to integrate best practices and ensure smooth operations across the data lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing workflows, implementing automation tools, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for pipelines, tools, and processes to support transparency and knowledge sharing.

Your Profile :

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in data operations and excellent problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail and ability to simplify complex information will set you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments but can also work independently when needed.

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, with a focus on automation and scripting.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in data operations.
  • Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic team environment.
