Developer Consultant

Location : Brussels, Belgium (European External Action Service)

Mode : On-site. Freelance Long-term contract (220 days)

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Developer Consultant (DEV) to reinforce the CiMA team, supporting both current and future operational demands while ensuring the continuity and quality of ongoing activities. You will join a collaborative and flexible environment that values agility and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications on MS Azure cloud infrastructure using (ASP).NET Core, EF Core, and Angular
• Create micro-services following clean code practices : CQRS, OData, AutoMapper on ASP.NET Core, .NET Aspire
• Develop frontend web apps with Angular 18+, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, JWT / OAuth / SSO authentication, unit testing (Jasmine, Karma), Angular Material
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and define application / database requirements
• Migrate legacy ASP.NET MVC apps to MS Azure App Services (.NET Framework, Entity Framework, JQuery, Bootstrap, Razor Pages)
• Develop and maintain NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB) and relational databases (MS-SQL)
• Deploy and manage Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Cosmos DB
• Create secure data integration features like web services and REST APIs
• Implement and run automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Import / Export and transform data between formats (SQL, JSON, XML) using web services
