SDX / Smart Suite Project Manager on large CAPEX project (Contract)

Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid) | 🕐 6-Month Initial Contract | 🔄 Extensions Highly Likely

We’re looking for an experienced SDX / Smart Suite Project Manager to support the implementation of engineering document and data management systems on a major industrial capital project in Belgium. This is a contract role within a high-performing Business & Operational Readiness (BOR) team, focused on enabling digital readiness ahead of operational go-live.

What You’ll Do :

Lead the setup and integration of SDX and Smart Suite systems for engineering data and document control
Ensure alignment of data governance practices with project and site operating models
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, IT, and document control teams to manage workflows and document flows across EPCs and vendors
Support the integration of engineering documentation with enterprise systems such as SAP
Define document control processes, metadata standards, compliance frameworks, and lifecycle governance
Drive the adoption of best practices in EDM (Engineering Data Management)

What We’re Looking For :

10+ years of experience in EDM, Document Control, or Engineering Data Management

Hands-on experience with SDX, Smart Suite , or similar platforms (e.g., Hexagon tools)

Strong understanding of document workflows in engineering, EPC, or industrial environments

Confident engaging with cross-functional stakeholders and leading adoption of new systems

Able to work from Antwerp several days a week with partial remote flexibility

Fluent in English

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Type : 5 days / week with a minimum of 2 days in office.
