Research Engineer - English required - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Research Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.

As a Research Engineer , your main responsibilities will include :

Setting up next-generation ADAS HiL systems based on the latest TMC technology
Testing and validating the new generation HiL capabilities for functional evaluation
Developing virtual twins to create simulation scenarios for ADAS validation
Contributing to performance assessment methodology and KPIs
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
Working within agile 3-week sprint cycles, delivering regular reports and documentation

Your Profile

PhD in engineering or equivalent (e.g. Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science)

2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

Proficiency in : DSpace toolchain, HiL system setup and validation, ADAS systems and simulation environments, Agile methodologies

Languages : English

Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a hybrid working setup
