One of our clients is currently looking for a Business Developer in Europe .
This is a hands-on commercial role for a driven and persuasive sales professional eager to make a tangible impact. You will be responsible for growing the professional service provider segment by converting self-employed workers—such as electricians, gardeners, and plumbers—into active users of the platform. You will handle both inbound leads and outbound strategies, working closely with marketing and another sales team member to identify opportunities and close deals. This position offers a great opportunity to take ownership and help shape the sales function in a growing and dynamic scale-up environment.
Accountabilities :
- Qualify and convert inbound leads from campaigns, web forms, and referrals into paying customers
- Execute outbound sales strategies, including email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and event networking
- Identify and develop new acquisition channels such as partnerships and referral programs
- Work in close collaboration with marketing to align messaging and improve lead generation outcomes
- Track, analyze, and improve sales funnel metrics to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Contribute to process improvements and tool implementation (CRM automation, sales enablement tools)
- Share insights from the field to help inform product development and go-to-market strategies
Requirements
Fluent in Dutch and French, both spoken and writtenStrong sales skills with a persuasive, proactive, and result-driven approachConfident communicator with strong phone presence and interpersonal abilitiesBackground in startups or scale-ups, comfortable in fast-moving environmentsSelf-starter who thrives on ownership, autonomy, and building something from scratchExperience handling inbound leads and running outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone)Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially over the phoneSelf-starter with a proven track record of closing deals, preferably in startups or scale-upsComfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment, with the ability to adapt quicklyExperience with sales tools or CRM systems is a plusEnglish proficiency is preferred for internal team collaborationPrevious experience in the services sector is considered a strong assetBenefits
