Role Overview :

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor , you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our accounts payable processes. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading a team to success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a group of accounts payable clerks, ensuring tasks are assigned according to availability, skills, and developmental needs. Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and constructive feedback to enhance team productivity.
• Process Management : Oversee the accurate coding of invoices, preparation and processing of electronic payments, check runs, and deposits, ensuring compliance with payment criteria and company policies.
• Financial Reconciliation : Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions and supplier accounts, addressing discrepancies promptly and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Compliance and Training : Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Provide training to departments on accounts payable procedures, fostering a culture of best practices.
• Problem Solving : Act as the primary point of contact for resolving queries, assisting with month-end close processes, and collaborating with other departments to streamline operations.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve methods and procedures within the accounts payable unit, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
