FunctieomschrijvingYou have at least 2-5 years of experience in proactively and reactively monitoring and remedying security breaches. You are fluent in Dutch and English. Experience with vulnerability assessment tools & methodologies, and endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, EDR tools). Hands-on with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nessus, Burp Suite). You demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills, allowing you to quickly assess complex security situations and identify potential risks. You excel at collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to create a cooperative environment that effectively addresses security challenges. Your customer-oriented mindset ensures that the end-user experience remains a priority while implementing security measures. You are eager to continuously learn and adapt in the fast-evolving cybersecurity field, proactively updating your knowledge and skills. Effective communication is one of your strengths, enabling you to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer for one of our clients with offices in Ghent, Leuven and Mechelen.
What will you do?
- You are part of the SOC (security operations center);
- You are responsable for investigating suspicious activities and take remediating actions;
- You maintain Security Monitoring Tools to effectively secure and monitor the different systems;
- You perform penetration tests to find any flaws;
- You document, test and monitor any security breaches and assess their damage.
