PM Group have a role for a BIM Technician to support our projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in the following activities :

• Being responsible for producing the discipline models of assigned project(s) with a requirement to create them using BIM authoring tools.
• Being responsible for producing outputs from discipline models of assigned project(s) (drawings, schedules, renders, etc.)
• Producing accurate and structured drawings suitable for the final issue.
• Producing fully coordinated sets of drawings / details.
• Discussing coordination issues with designers and engineers and resolving them as instructed.
• Being able to undertake tasks arising from Clash Management activities such as : assigning clashes, supporting coordination meetings, reporting clash detection, etc.
• Being able to undertake tasks arising from the Model federation.
• Assisting in the set-up of the BIM project environment.
• The BIM Technician will report to the BIM Coordinator of assigned project(s) and, if needed, to the BIM Lead and the Belgium BIM Department Manager.
• Effective time management and execution of output within a defined timeline and budgetary constraints.
