FunctieomschrijvingBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a multinational or group environment. Strong knowledge of BEGAAP. Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Demonstrated ability to check your own work. Able to maintain focus and performance during peak periods. Proficiency in Dutch or the ability to work in a Dutch-speaking environment is preferable.

General Ledger Specialist – Group Accounting
What you will do
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple entities in accordance with local GAAP.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
