Freelance IT Project Manager – French Speaking | Brussels or Francophone Belgium

I am looking for an experienced Freelance IT Project Manager to join our client for an exciting upcoming project. If you're a proactive, organized professional with a strong background in IT project delivery and fluent in French , I'd love to hear from you.

Location : Brussels or French-speaking regions of Belgium

Type : Freelance / Contract

Start Date : ASAP or negotiable

Duration : 6+ months (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time and within scope and budget
Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and external stakeholders)
Manage project risks, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
Report regularly to senior stakeholders and ensure project alignment with business goals
Oversee change management and ensure end-user adoption

Requirements :

Proven experience (5+ years) in IT Project Management

Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles

Fluent in French (spoken and written); knowledge of English is a strong asset

Based in Brussels or in a French-speaking region of Belgium

Experience with Agile and / or traditional project management methodologies

Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Nice to Have :

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master)

Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
