YOUR CHALLENGE

As category buyer for regional logistics services, you are responsible for the procurement of these categories for all European sites. Your focus will be on bulk transportation. You will be in contact with an enthusiastic procurement team.

• You contribute to the procurement strategies of your categories and implement and monitor it in your area of responsibility.
• You are responsible for the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of inquiries, negotiate with suppliers, award and implement the respective contracts. Claim management is also part of your responsibilities.
• You are responsible for supplier relationship management, supplier development, development of the supplier base and will contribute to risk management concepts.
• You will represent your category in- & externally and act as market expert and are responsible for price forecasting. You identify market changes and – in close collaboration with the internal stakeholders & the category team- define & implement the best strategy to guarantee business success.
• You act with a professional and goal-oriented attitude towards internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding the products and services of your categories and participate in a wide range of projects.
