Rockwell Engineer | FTE / Freelance | Antwerp

We're looking for a Senior Rockwell Engineer to lead a tank terminal automation project. You will take charge of the full lifecycle, from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to commissioning at the customer site. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in FactoryTalk Batch, batch process control, and batch modifications.

You’ll be provided peer-to-peer (P2P) training and act as a technical lead, ensuring delivery aligns with both engineering standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities :

Lead the Rockwell automation setup for a tank terminal project
Configure and modify FactoryTalk Batch systems
Handle batch process design and implementation
Conduct FAT onsite (Antwerp), then commissioning at the customer site
Interface with customers to ensure project satisfaction
Collaborate with remote and onsite teams
Deliver documentation and handovers

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Rockwell Engineer, preferably leading batch / tank terminal projects

Strong knowledge of FactoryTalk Batch and batch process modifications

Able to lead and train others in automation best practices

Willingness to travel for FAT & commissioning

English fluent; Dutch is a plus

Onsite Expectation :

1–2 days / week onsite (Antwerp office)

Onsite presence required for FAT & commissioning phases
