Solution Expert .NET & Azure

Hybrid – 2 days / week onsite in Berchem, Belgium

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Solution Expert specialized in .NET development and cloud-native Azure solutions . You will take technical ownership of key projects, guiding cross-functional teams while ensuring modern, scalable architectures across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Analyze and modernize legacy .NET systems , ensuring clean migrations to new platforms.
  • Integrate front-end and back-end systems with enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts to provide technical guidance and make informed architectural decisions.
  • Act as a technical lead , mentoring junior team members and defining best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture standards across functional and non-functional domains (e.g., performance, maintainability).
  • Manage the technical lifecycle of applications within scope and budget.
  • Contribute to internal technology watch activities, staying on top of emerging trends in .NET, Azure, and architecture best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture.
  • Strong .NET stack expertise with proven experience in Azure-native development.
  • Skilled in :
  • Azure Functions, App Services, SQL, Storage, etc.
  • Designing scalable, secure, and modern architectures.
  • Agile / Scrum experience.
  • Conceptual thinker with a hands-on and pragmatic approach .
  • Excellent communicator and workshop facilitator with alignment and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

    • Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge in Insurance or Finance sectors.

    • Languages Required

  • Dutch : Very good (spoken & written)
  • English : Very good (spoken & written)
  • French : Basic knowledge
