Job description

Crafting and executing a communication strategy to promote the work and achievements of the Data & Analytics Center of Expertise to both internal and external stakeholders across the Pan-E organization. This may include creating messaging, content, and promotional material to support the promotion of the center's work. Organize "communication events" with Business Functions, set agenda and lead the meetings.Creating content and material : Create a variety of materials, including presentations, reports, articles, case studies, and the ability to use data visualization tools, such as charts, graphs, and infographics. Collect testimonials, pictures, videos from our internal customers and create publications in channels.Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Translators to identify key insights from data and transform them into compelling narratives that convey the significance of the data in a manner that can be easily understood by a non-technical audience.Managing communication channels and collaborating with internal Comms : Manage various communication channels, such as newsletters, social media accounts, and intranet sites (e.g. SharePoint), to ensure that the center's achievements and activities are communicated effectively to relevant audiences.Supporting change management efforts : Support change management efforts related to the adoption of new data and analytics technologies or processes. This may include developing communication plans and materials to help stakeholders understand the benefits and implications of the changes.Monitoring and measuring impact : Monitor and measure the impact of the center's communication efforts, using analytics and other tools to assess the effectiveness of various communication channels, messaging, and content.Make adjustments to communication strategies or tactics based on feedback and data analysis. Also gather feedback and answer queries from employees or other stakeholders about the data & analytics information provided to them.Ensuring a common Look and Feel in D&A : Create and maintain a common visual identity throughout D&A material and coach the team to apply it consistentlyPM Hackathon : Create and manage timeline and budget, create and manage backlog of tasks, coordinate organisation team and suppliers, take decisions on : agenda, selected vendors, team's participation. Present progress, issues, decisions / suggestions to D&A management.Facilitate and Animate Communities of Users : Setup and host sessions about : a)sharing of experience between users (deep dives), b) sharing of expert knowledge (on-line master classes or physical / hybrid meet ups). Promote events that the community members can participate in Belgium or other locations. Elicit topics and testimonials from the community to promote further D&A's work.Own and execute the D&A Communication Roadmap; supervise communication specialists to deliver the above : Setup the way of working with comms team (meeting structure, R&R, reporting method, way of visualizing work), prioritise work and set targets, evaluate work of team.

Profile

RecommendedBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in a communication or marketing role, preferably in a data and analytics-focused organization.Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create content for a variety of mediums and audiences.Experience with digital communication channels, including social media, email marketing, website content management and web UI / UX Familiarity with Microsoft's O365 Tools : Teams, SharePoint etc. Video / photo editing is a plus.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Knowledge of communication metrics and Experience analyzing data to improve communication strategies.Optional Familiarity with data and analytics terminology and concepts
