Crypto Operator

Division : Chief Information Security Office (CISO)

As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company’s business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.

You will join the Enterprise Cryptography Operations team in the role of Crypto Operator.

Role

  • Perform the role of Key Custodian (including key generation, Hardware Security Modules (HSM) ceremonies, key installation, code signing, and secret holding) for the Euroclear Enterprise Cryptography service.
  • Perform the role of Registration Authority (including the creation and revocation of smart cards for external and internal users).
  • Provide support on ‘Key and Certificate management’ and smart card usage for external and internal users (., troubleshooting smart card or certificate related issues, certificate expiration management, …).
  • Provide a quality cryptography service to our internal and external customers.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support documentation for internal and external users.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Public Key infrastructure (PKI).
  • Knowledge of certificate lifecycle management.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and the main web browsers.
  • Ability to read and interpret application logs.
  • Knowledge of TLS and crypto technologies, or willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Secure Cryptographic Devices (HSM, smart card) and associated key ceremonies, or willingness to learn
  • Experience with key and certificate management solutions (ideally Venafi), or willingness to learn
  • Very good English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Some knowledge of cryptographic libraries (OpenSSL, MS CNG, …) (ideally).
  • Agile knowledge (ideally).
