Data Project Manager & Teamlead

As Project Manager & Teamlead :

• You manage scope, time, risk and budget of the project(s) at hand;
• You work towards a timely and qualitative delivery of the project in an agile way;
• You act as a trusted advisor and you cultivate enduring customer relationships;
• You are the first point of contact for both the customer and the Tropos team on the project(s) assigned to you and you act as a liaison between them;
• You translate business questions into manageable tasks for your team of data engineers;
• You do regular one-on-ones, coaching conversations and a performance review at the end of the year with the colleagues on your project team(s);
• You inspire and motivate your team(s) and you celebrate success along the way;
• You ensure that people can learn and grow on projects by having an eye for their personal talents and competencies and by offering hands-on learning opportunities to everyone;

You share best practices and knowledge within Tropos;

Getting things done’ is your second nature. You are able to manage scope, time, risk and budget and guide your project team and the customer towards a timely and qualitative delivery of the project at hand.

You are able to elegantly navigate divergent interests from different stakeholders if necessary. You exude integrity and know-how because of your no-nonsense and quality-oriented approach. People trust you and like to work with you.

You are energized by coaching and developing people and at the same time you are able to set and guard boundaries if necessary.

You preferably have some previous experience in applying the above competencies in an IT consulting context. You are willing to learn about and work in an expertise-driven (data) engineering environment.
