Job description

Are you a skilled Data Engineer ready for your next adventure? Amaris Consulting is on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our Data & AI Center of Excellence in Belgium. This is a great opportunity for professionals with keen analytical abilities, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement efficient ETL / ELT pipelines to process large volumes of data from various sources.
  • Build and maintain data warehousing solutions and data lakes that support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Optimize data pipelines for speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure data quality.
  • Implement monitoring tools and processes to ensure continuous pipeline operation and proactively address issues.

Your Profile :

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Data Engineering and excellent problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail and ability to simplify complex information will set you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments but can also work independently when needed.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and performance optimization.
  • Experience with big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic team environment.
