To strengthen our internal IT team, we are looking for a colleague to take on the role of ICT Infrastructure Engineer and 2nd-line internal IT support.
You will work full-time at our office in Ghent / Brussels, with occasional travel mainly within Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia, the Benelux, and Tunisia.
You will independently manage IT infrastructure projects under the supervision of the IT Director. The goal of these projects is to make the ICT infrastructure and its systems more stable and efficient. You will also be responsible for the proactive maintenance of this ICT infrastructure. You will install the standard ICT infrastructure in all existing and new offices, as well as during mergers, acquisitions, relocations, or office integrations.
You will analyze and deploy new ICT systems, including those mandated by Emeria France.
As part of the IT support within the Emeria Belux group, you will be responsible for second-line internal support for ICT systems (serving around 750 people across 45 offices). Your main tasks will include providing technical assistance and helping to resolve user issues.
Working under the supervision of the IT Director, you will serve as a direct point of contact for users and external IT service providers. You communicate effectively with these stakeholders to solve problems, assist with the deployment of new programs or solutions, and handle the necessary documentation and administration.
In addition to the tasks listed above, you will also be responsible for the following :
Deploying and installing standard / new IT technologies and solutions.
Equipping and maintaining the standard IT infrastructure in data centers and offices.
Proactive maintenance and monitoring.
Cybersecurity support and follow-up.
Following up on requests submitted via the ticketing system.
Implementing changes in internal systems.
Working closely with your ICT colleagues and the IT Director, who has final responsibility for your actions.
