Nexeo Belgium is looking for a Scrum Master – Expert to support Agile teams within a leading financial institution.

Mission context :

As a Scrum Master , you will serve as the central point of reference for agile delivery within cross-functional teams. You ensure the correct application of the Scrum framework, help the team maximize results, and protect them from internal and external disruptions. You will guide the team toward self-organization while coaching stakeholders on agile interactions and best practices.

Function description :

Project delivery & facilitation

  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog
  • Help the team define and deliver on their Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Track velocity and team capacity to ensure sustainable delivery
  • Ensure correct application of Scrum principles and adapt where necessary for continuous improvement
  • Assist the team in identifying and removing delivery obstacles

Agile methodology & team coaching

  • Act as an Agile ambassador and servant-leader for the squad
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous feedback
  • Coach teams to be self-organized and accountable
  • Promote Agile values across the organization and ensure alignment with stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on Agile maturity, risks, and delivery progress
  • Guide teams through challenges and blockers using facilitation and mentoring techniques

    • Agile environment :

  • Cross-functional teams (analysis, development, testing, etc.)
  • Team members are encouraged to contribute across disciplines to meet the sprint goal

    • Your profile : Education :

    Master’s degree or equivalent by experience

    Languages :

    Fluent in English + working knowledge of either French or Dutch

    Remote work :

    Hybrid setup : 50% on-site in Brussels / 50% remote

    Experience :

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in an Agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe...)
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with automated testing, CI / CD tooling, and continuous integration pipelines
  • Solid understanding of software development and project management methodologies
