Main tasks
- Lead and coordinate SFC working groups, with a focus on Sustainable Finance with opportunity to contribute / support to SFC’s work in other policy areas
- Coordinate a large informal network of third country financial institutions to discuss sustainable finance policy developments
- Draft and coordinate policy papers and other advocacy materials
- Develop relationships with key EU officials and stakeholders
- Prepare presentations and briefings for the SFC and its members
- Report on meetings, public hearings, conferences and other events
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on policy matters to the members
- Contribute to SFC events
Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required :
Good understanding of the functioning of the European institutions, EU policy / decision-making and legislative processesUniversity degree in economics, business or law or comparable degree / qualificationMinimum of 2 years of professional experience with EU institutions, trade associations, public affairs consultancies, law firms, or the financial sectorKnowledge of or strong interest in EU sustainable finance policyA flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working styleStrong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with stakeholders and counterpartsStrong time management / organisational skillsStrong analytical skills and the ability to familiarise quickly with new and complex topicsExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing in English.
