Freelance System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to support and execute cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in on-premise infrastructure and hands-on experience migrating systems, applications, and data to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This role will be pivotal in ensuring a smooth, secure, and efficient migration process.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in the design, planning, and execution of large-scale cloud migration projects.
• Assess existing infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness and migration strategy.
• Implement cloud-native and lift-and-shift solutions based on project requirements.
• Perform hands-on technical tasks including server provisioning, data migration, application configuration, and post-migration validation.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and security teams to ensure best practices in scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, documentation, and automation scripts for repeatable migration processes.
• Monitor systems before, during, and after migration to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud or hybrid environments (compute, storage, networking).
