Summary of Position
We are seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our SPECT team and take the helm of our sales activities in the Benelux region. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving and exceeding Sales and EBITDA targets for the region in line with the Curium values, integrity, mission, and ensuring the implementation of the marketing and strategic plan set by the organization.
In this role, you will not only be responsible for managing and coaching our dedicated sales team, composed of 3 Key Account Managers, but also for partnering with the General Manager PET Benelux to lead the Customer Service team.
Essential Functions
Sales Leadership and Coordination :
- Lead the sales activities for the SPECT division, ensuring that sales targets are achieved and exceeded, the sales pipeline is effectively managed, and sales activities are effectively coordinated with marketing initiatives.
- Integrate individual territory plans and account profiles within the broader regional sales plan, monitor sales performance, and guide and coach sales team, accordingly, building the necessary skills & knowledge through coaching, training & development.
- Ensure information dissemination within the sales team for a focused market approach.
- Plan and control expenses to meet sales objectives within the budget.
Business Development and Market Intelligence :
Investigate & develop new business opportunities, establish & maintain contact with key hospital executives, decision-makers and medical staff to ensure that Curium is fulfilling its expectations & to become aware of emerging growth opportunities.Establish and maintain a market intelligence reporting system that will provide the company with feedback on market share, product performance, and competitor activity, new product opportunities & the changing needs of the medical market.Collect data on competitors' sales tactics and prepare the sales team to counter them.Customer Relations and Compliance :
Spend time in the field to build relationships, understand customer needs, and support sales team development.Comply with reporting obligations for adverse events and quality complaints.Support commercial and administrative responses for tenders.Collaborate with the General Manager PET Benelux as regards the interface with Customer service and back up during absence.Follow up on pharmacovigilance and GDP processes for the SPECT entity.Requirements
Education and Experience(s)
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Science or Business, ideally with a medical backgroundExperience in the medical field, ideally in radiology or nuclear medicine will be beneficialProved record of Professional Selling experience for the last 3-4 years. Sales in the Medical field a strong plus.Sales management experience in the last 2-3 years.Required skills / hard skills
