Skytanking offers a comprehensive range of aviation services, including ground handling, into-plane fueling, aviation fuel storage, hydrant management, and investments in airport fuel facilities. We also provide engineering support for airlines, airports, and oil companies.
Annually, Skytanking manages over 25 million cbm of aviation fuel and refuels two million aircraft—equivalent to four refuelings every minute.
Our operations span 93 airports across 15 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, supported by a team of more than 2,900 employees.
At Skytanking Brussels Fuel Farm BV , which manages and operates the aviation fuel facilities at Brussels Airport (Zaventem), we are seeking an : Assistant Technical Manager
Your tasks
The main objective of this role is to assist the Technical Manager with the daily technical operations of the fuel facilities. In this role you will be focusing on :
Management & support
- The daily technical management in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards of fuel supply, storage and fuel quality
- Purchase and suppliers management
- Managing ad hoc projects (including proactively proposing improvement suggestions)
Follow-up activities & administration
The technical follow-up and maintenance of the fixed and mobile facilitiesThe budget follow up of OPEX and CAPEX projectsThe fuel administrationCoordination
The coordination of investment projects handled by the engineering department to minimize interference with the operationsCoordination of all kind of projects with the airport authorities, local authorities and other relevant stakeholdersMeetings, reporting & research
Participate in Airport operations meetingsEnsure the timely and clear communication and reporting to the Airport AuthorityConduct research and gather information on various topicsPrepare reports and recommendations based on research findingsAssist in data collection and analysis to support decision-making processesYour profile
