Senior Structural Analyst (Naval)

Job Description :

As a Senior Structural Analyst within the Naval & Structural group, you will contribute to both basic and detailed engineering within your field of expertise. You will be responsible for developing structural designs and relevant calculations from the proposal phase to yard support and vessel delivery. Your work will encompass various aspects such as strength, stiffness, vibrations, producibility, and maintainability, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements. Additionally, you may contribute to research and development initiatives and process improvement within the structural analysis discipline.

Profile / Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum of five years of experience in ship structures as a Senior Structural Analyst within the shipbuilding or offshore sectors. - Knowledge of ship classification calculations and tools such as DNV-GL Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, or BV MARS2000. - Expertise in FEM modeling and analysis software like ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP, and CAD systems such as NUPAS (3D), 3DX, or Catia. - Permanent EU citizenship and passport are mandatory. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and / or passport are not eligible due to the military nature of our projects.
