As a Senior Operations Manager at our Contract Logistics site in Beringen, Belgium, you’ll be at the heart of our warehouse operations. You’ll lead a dynamic team, drive operational excellence, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your mission? How you create impact

Take full ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring performance meets internal and external KPIs (QCDISME).

Lead and coordinate operational planning, staffing, and problem-solving to maintain high service levels.

Drive and manage diverse warehouse projects, from onboarding new customers to implementing new workflows.

Champion continuous improvement through our Kuehne+Nagel Production System (PS), leading initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and security standards through audits, safety walks, and data monitoring.

Develop and execute tactical and operational plans aligned with the site’s strategic goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system uptime, plan preventive maintenance, and optimize logistics flows.

What we would like you to bring

Master’s degree in logistics, business, or supply chain management, or equivalent experience in retail or FMCG logistic environment.

Proven track record in a senior warehouse or logistics management role.

Deep understanding of warehouse operations, lean management, and continuous improvement (DMAIC proficiency).

Advanced Excel skills and experience with warehouse management systems.

Comfortable working in cold environments (around 1-4°C).

Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and engage with customers.

Passion for coaching and developing team members.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, thriving under pressure.

Fluency in English is essential. Dutch and / or French are nice to have.
