About us

Wygwam, a division of the Niko Group, is a dynamic organization specializing in innovative solutions. We are currently looking for a talented Business Controller to join our finance team and drive financial excellence across our business units.

The opportunity

As our new Business Controller, you will serve as a strategic financial partner to our business units, providing critical insights that drive informed decision-making and profitable growth. This role bridges the gap between finance and operations, translating financial data into actionable business intelligence. You'll play a pivotal role in our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring transparency in performance reporting and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with department heads across Marketing, Sales, IT, and R&D to provide financial insights, cost transparency, and business case analyses
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings at management level with a focus on P&L analysis
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets while implementing automated quarterly forecasting processes
  • Support the end-to-end budget process by setting targets, facilitating discussions with budget owners, and establishing actionable metrics
  • Perform comprehensive profitability analyses and recommend strategic actions to foster growth
  • Manage cost price calculations in SAP
  • Deliver insightful financial presentations to management, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the group controller and accounting department
  • Report directly to the CFO

Profile

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commercial Engineering, or Applied Economic Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, or audit
  • Experience with SAP financial modules and Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal
