Test Engineer

Job Title : Medior Test Engineer (Manual Testing)

Contract : Freelance

Duration : min 2 years

Location : Brussels (next to trainstation)

Workregime : 2 days onsite / week

Context & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Medior Test Engineer with a strong focus on manual UI testing (~90%) and a basic understanding of API test automation (~10%).

The successful candidate will progressively build up product and domain knowledge to better understand the business context behind the features being tested.

You will work across two Agile teams , which requires flexibility and the ability to manage frequent context switching . Occasionally, you may also support testing requests from other teams or external partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform manual UI testing on web applications.
• Support limited API test automation where needed.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Gradually build business knowledge and insight into the product.
• Manage tasks across multiple teams in an Agile environment.
