Job Summary
The EMEA Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Terumo company car fleet spread across 20+ countries in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. The role will involve leading the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and safety, while driving the EMEA company car policy and fleet strategy in alignment with corporate and sustainability objectives.

What You’ll Be Driving :
1. Fleet Strategy & Optimization
Design and implement a forward-thinking EMEA company car policy that balances performance, cost-efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Continuously evaluate and enhance fleet operations to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead our sustainability journey by transitioning to hybrid and electric vehicles.
Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce cutting-edge technologies to keep us competitive.
2. Fleet Operations Management
Oversee daily fleet operations : leasing, allocation, compliance, and vehicle lifecycle management.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and local teams to ensure seamless operations tailored to each region.
Ensure timely vehicle handovers, returns, and replacements across the EMEA footprint.
3. Vendor & Supplier Management
Build and maintain strong partnerships with leasing companies, dealerships, insurance providers, and EV infrastructure vendors.
Negotiate contracts that deliver value and ensure top-tier service.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues with agility and professionalism.
4. Cost Control & Budgeting
Own and manage the EMEA fleet budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing spend.
Leverage OEM discounts and explore innovative mobility solutions to maximize ROI.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with local laws, safety standards, and internal policies.
Manage insurance claims and collaborate with HR and Legal on incident resolution.
Champion driver safety programs and risk mitigation strategies.
6. Data Reporting & Analytics
Track key metrics like TCO, utilization, and energy consumption to inform strategic decisions.
Deliver insightful reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance and opportunities for improvement.
Profile Description

Your Background :
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Finance, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven success managing large-scale fleets (500+ vehicles) across multiple EMEA countries.
Your Expertise :
Deep understanding of fleet best practices, including leasing, insurance, compliance, and cost optimization.
Experience driving sustainability initiatives, such as transitioning to electric or hybrid vehicles.
Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, and vendor relations.
Your Skills :
Sharp analytical mindset with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a talent for building relationships across cultures and geographies.
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
Your Edge :
Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages like German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
Willingness to travel across the EMEA region to support and optimize fleet operations.
