Position Overview :
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teacher to join its Early Childhood Education team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of early childhood development and be passionate about supporting young learners as they take their first steps in formal education.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support holistic development and align with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to learn.
Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based and inquiry-driven learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine units of inquiry and integrate learning across subject areas.
Maintain regular, constructive communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
Observe and assess childrens development to tailor instruction to individual needs and milestones.
Candidate Requirements :
A recognized teaching qualification in Early Childhood or Primary Education (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Experience teaching early years, preferably within an international or IB PYP setting.
A sound understanding of the principles of inquiry-based learning and child development.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
EU work eligibility is essential the school cannot provide visa sponsorship.
