We are looking for a flexible and skilled Riggers to join our team for worldwide projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and carrying out the lifting of specialized equipment, as well as assembling and disassembling cranes and other lifting / transporting systems and structures. Your work will be crucial in ensuring safety and compliance with Sarens SHEQ standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and carry out the lifting of specialized equipment for European projects.
  • Assemble and disassemble cranes and other lifting or transport systems and structures.
  • Make sure all work is done safely and follows Sarens SHEQ standards.
  • Complete Workplace Inspections (WPI).
  • Ensure all activities follow Sarens standards, policies, and local laws.
  • Do daily visual checks on equipment for safety, maintenance needs, defects, irregularities, cleanliness, damage, and wear. Fill out the necessary checklists.
  • Follow hygiene and environmental rules to meet quality goals.

Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of experience as a rigger, with general knowledge of technical work and heavy lifting.
  • Certifications : a certificate for securing heavy loads (IS-006) and / or a safety certificate (VCA). Extra certificates (forklift, telehandler, aerial platform) are a bonus.
  • Able to work on a 6-2 rotation schedule.
  • Willing to travel and work on job sites in Europe.
  • Strong focus on safety and high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics.
  • Good English skills, both speaking and writing.
  • Good communication skills and ability to understand situations.
  • Able to work at heights over 3 meters.
  • Good at working in a team.
