We are looking for a Recovery Officer to join our Recovery North Team . This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage legal and financial processes related to debt recovery. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, stress-resistant, and capable of working independently while being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Investigate incoming files and determine, in collaboration with management, whether the file can be legally closed.
  • Responsible for drafting termination letters and determining the collection strategy.
  • Engage with debtors or other security providers to negotiate amicable settlements.
  • If necessary, involve a lawyer and follow up with them on the case.
  • In case of bankruptcy, file the debt claim.
  • Communicate (both orally and in writing) with debtors, lawyers, notaries, curators, bailiffs, and others regarding the handling of cases.
  • Manage the accounting aspects of each file, including value adjustments.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (or related diploma in legal practice).
  • Native proficiency in Dutch (strong written and spoken communication).
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in French and English .
  • Good expertise in MS Office .
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Stress-resistant, flexible, and a team player.
  • Interest in insolvency matters is a plus.
  • Recent law graduates are also welcome to apply.
