- Lead, motivate and mentor the Linux team.
- Intervene in unresolved issues and provide support to L2 engineers.
- Provide training and technical support to junior system administrators
- Process monitoring and improvement
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures
- Follow-up on agreements with internal customers : service requests, incidents, problems, improvement plans and changes.
- Manage Linux infrastructure in line with agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Monitor control and user experience.
- Plan maintenance activities according to predefined "deployment requests" and exclude non-agreed production impacts.
- Advise IAAS Service Manager on future infrastructure investments to proactively maintain production.

- Project monitoring, adjustment and reporting to IAAS Service Manager
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and acquire the resources needed to achieve project objectives.
- Lead activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Identify supplier product and service requirements
- You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent diploma based on experience;
- You have at least 5 years' relevant experience in a Linux IT environment;
- You have good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills and can communicate fluently with others;
- You are a motivated leader who knows how to work with a team of experts;
- You are customer-oriented, caring and reliable.
- You have in-depth knowledge of managing and configuring Linux environments (SAN, ESX, VMWare, core networks, backup, Linux OS, Rancher, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).

- You are interested in technology and innovation in the ICT field : You keep an eye on developments in your field and, where appropriate, propose them.
- You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you do need to know the broad outlines of what your team members are doing, and make the necessary adjustments.
- You will be flexible in your approach to on-call services in our 24 / 7 environment (+ / - 1 in 6 weeks).
- You have a good command of Dutch or French. You have a good knowledge of the second national language and English and can make yourself understood in both languages.
