A Ghent-based software company focused on developing industrial software, such as solutions for operational systems and data history, is looking for a Marketing Lead. A team of 17 professionals works daily to develop innovative solutions that are critical to managing and optimizing customers' industrial processes. Driven by a vision to excel both locally and internationally, the company is determined to grow significantly in the coming years.

Your responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's ambitions and growth objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget and monitor ROI for all marketing activities.
  • Regularly track and evaluate KPIs such as LTV, ARR, MQLs and conversion rates using CRM tools.
  • Ensuring constant inflow of quality leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and industry partners.
  • Monitor and promote brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Perform competitive and customer analysis to identify new initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Continuously test and optimize existing marketing tactics and strategies.
  • Implement and expand Marketing Automation processes to increase efficiency.
  • Direct and collaborate with external partners such as a copywriter, PR agency and other agencies.
  • Streamline all communications within the company in line with the brand strategy.
  • In the first year, you will be prepared to do hands-on operational work while building a strong team to execute the strategy.

Your background :

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an executive marketing role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • You are a strategic thinker, you understand the market dynamics of the business and you don't mind getting your hands dirty.
  • You can set, measure, interpret and report on KPIs. You are driven by results.
  • You have a growth marketing mindset : experimentation and data-driven decision-making are your thing. This company is all about data anyway.
  • You know your way around the marketing tool landscape and set them up at a basic level. There are always developers around for hard coding when needed.
  • You're fluent in English, both verbal and written.
