    This airline supports a major logistics network and provides aircraft, maintenance, and global air cargo and passenger services.

    Description

    Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management :

    • Ensure compliance with Belgian Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) procedures for safe operations and airworthy aircraft.
    • Maintain aviation security programs
    • Monitor Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance, and Training to meet BCAA and internal standards.
    • Liaise with Civil Aviation Authorities on compliance matters.
    • Oversee aircraft airworthiness reviews and manage the Safety Management System (SMS), including hazard identification and risk management.
    • Maintain the company's aviation security program in compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Company's Security Program and Procedures

    • Maintain and monitor the implementation of the operator's aviation security programme by keeping it compliant with all applicable regulations (such as Belgian National Security Programme, the European Regulation with regard to aviation security, ECAC
    • People Management : Manage the Safety, Security and Monitoring Compliance team (+ / - 10 FTEs)

      Profile

    • Holder of an engineering degree or theoretical ATPL.
    • Experience in Quality Assurance in Airline business (min 5 years).
    • Good knowledge of JAA / NAA / IATA regulations that are relevant to the company.
    • Being acceptable to the BCAA (experience is an asset)
    • Fluency in English, French. Any other language is an asset.
    • Very high sense of confidentiality at all times.
