To strengthen our Belgium finance team in Brussels, we are looking for a Financial Controller with at least 1 to 2 years of experience. If you have a passion for finance, enjoy challenges, and want to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this role is for you!

Your Mission : A Key Role in the Finance Team

As a Financial Controller, you will play a strategic role in managing financial operations and supporting business decisions. Working closely with the Belgian General Manager and the wider finance team, you will ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across the business.

  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial, operational, and commercial data to provide valuable insights.
  • Supporting Project Leaders and Managers in monitoring and improving project profitability.
  • Controlling, challenging, and advising the CFAO / Group Financial Controller to drive financial performance.
  • Acting as the right-hand person to the Belgian General Manager for financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Preparing and supporting the Belgian General Manager for monthly CODIR meetings.
  • Ensuring a strong internal control environment to mitigate financial risks and guarantee data accuracy.
  • Managing cash flow and tracking outstanding invoices to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Working closely with the accounting team to enhance financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Managing relationships with banks, accounting firms, and financial service providers.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes for consistency and efficiency.

Your Profile : Who We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in controlling, audit, or financial analysis.
  • Ability to work in a multi-country and matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach and attention to detail.
  • Autonomous and proactive, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of English.
