Represent Brussels Airlines in LHG accounting initiatives and lead local implementation. Participate in LHG ICS audits. Act as the point of contact for auditors. Advise on CapEx / OpEx, new GL accounts, and statutory project impacts. Chartered accountant in Belgium Experience in both Belgian Statutory accounting and IFRS Experience in a complex international accounting environment Experience in leading projects Overall minimum 5 years of business experience Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and / or French is an asset
The GL Manager will perform closing tasks, including calculation, booking, reconciliation, and clearing of GL accounts. They will participate in LHG ICS audits, contribute to SAP4HANA implementation ensuring Belgian GAAP compliance, lead accounting projects, and act as a key contact for auditors.
Closing Tasks
- Perform monthly closing tasks : booking, reconciling, and clearing complex general ledger accounts.
- Support the Head of Accounting in ensuring books' completeness and accuracy.
- Identify risks and opportunities in Balance Sheet items.
- Prepare internal and external financial statements reporting.
