About the job : Join our dynamic Software team as an Embedded Software Designer, where you'll play an essential role. Engage in creating essential software components that are pivotal for our organization's success in the railway sector.

Your main responsibilities will include :

Specification Development : Collaborate with the software architect to define and create software specifications and architecture.
Software Component Development :

Conduct detailed design and coding of SIL4 software components.

Establish the software development toolchain.

Specify, design, and conduct tests and verifications of deliverables.

Integration and Collaboration :

Provide support for software integration, working closely with other software designers.

Collaborate with system engineers to analyze and specify requirements.

Standardization and Continuous Improvement :

Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or implementing reusable solutions.

Your Profile :

Education and Technical Skills :

Engineer Degree or Master’s Degree.

More than 3 years of experience in Embedded Software development.

ADA, C, C++, Python.

Familiarity with Git and GitLab.

Knowledge of network communication protocols and IT networks is an asset.

Soft Skills :

Team spirit, proactivity, curiosity, rigor, responsibility, reliability, customer orientation, autonomy, and perseverance.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.

Languages :

Proficient in English and in French.

Location :

Based in Charleroi with the option for remote work 2 days per week.
