We’re looking for a talented intern to join our Strategy and Value Creation team.

Are you looking to deepen your knowledge of strategic analysis and gain experience in the workplace? We have an internship position available in our Strategy and Value Creation team within our Deals department in our Brussels office for a period of minimum 3 months.

You’ll join a young growing team who are part of the wider Deals team of 100 consultants. We add value to our clients’ businesses by delivering a wide range of strategy services focused on value creation analysis, commercial due diligence, strategic analysis and market analysis. We work with clients in different sectors facing a variety of challenges such as transactions, strategic reflection, or pre-deal analysis.

As an intern, You’ll support our team on business development initiatives and real assignments by performing market research, pitch preparation, project analysis and other added value tasks depending on projects. Depending on the type of work or assignment, you’ll report to either senior consultants or a manager. As the team is young and growing, we expect the intern to have an active role in the team, with sometimes direct contact with more senior people (Director); strong communication skills and team spirit are therefore a must.

What you’ll learn and do

Searching and analyzing market data in the context of market analysis

Preparation of slides for business development initiatives and for real projects

Making the link between strategic and financial analysis

Participating in brainstorming sessions with the team

Report writing in different context

Who you are

Last year Master’s student

Outstanding academic record

You are strong in making impactful presentations in PPT and / or in other format

You are comfortable with figures and you are able to make the link between financial elements and strategic elements

You can also make the link with other Value Creation topics, such as ESG, IT, HR or supply chains.

You have solid writing and presentation skills

You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business

You possess excellent listening and communication skills, and can communicate clearly, persuade and influence

You have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability

You can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

You are fluent in English and in Dutch and / or French

You want to be part of a new team with high growth potential
