Job tasksPerform the role of an Enterprise Domain Architect (responsible for projects and programmes) aross the value stream Capture the strategic context (vision / mission / goal), business capabilities, value streams, and implications of the business strategy on operations and IT and represent them in ArchiMateValidate Architecture and ensure fit for purpose architecture is aligned and agreed across all IT stakeholders Create Reference Architecture / Blueprints, Roadmaps Ensure all documentation is done in ArchiMate representation within modelling tool As an Enterprise Architect working at our client, you will support the teams by Solving business challenges with an Enterprise Architecture solutionUnderstand the business requirements and strategy Agree & validate proposed solution, taking into account the existing Reference Architecture, cost and feasibility Define Reference Architecture and Roadmaps that are aligned between IT and business stakeholders Talking technical and business languageStrong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Drive consensus across different IT departments You are able to handle several projects in parallel, where your main responsibility isTo understand and validate solution architecture, within the boundaries and guidelines of Enterprise architecture frameworkReach consensus on the proposed solution within the different teamsFollow up on implementation and quality checks What you bring to the teamMandatory to have had a strong technical background with hands-on experience within the development lifecycle and solution architecture experience Have played the role as an Enterprise Architect working along with Solution Architects to ensure fit for solution deliveryAgile Scrum expertiseExperienced with Cloud based solutions (SaaS / PaaS) Experienced with Azure and Amazon Cloud technologies Experienced with Identity Management Solutions, Authentication / Authorization Experienced with Heroku, Kafka, Event Driven ArchitectureExperienced with Web Tiers (Apache / Jetty / IIS / JavaScript frameworks / HTML5) Knowledge of Java Experienced with Service Tiers (Spring / Hibernate) Experienced wtih Database solutions (RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2) / MongoDB, Elasticsearch) Knowledge of Middleware (Camel, ActiveMQ, CXF) Experienced with Enterprise Integration Patterns Experienced with RESTful web services / JSON / JMS Experienced with Development tooling (Maven, SVN, Confluence, Jira, Bamboo...)At least 9 years of working experience as an Enterprise Architect Perfect knowledge of the English languageBeing able to work as a freelancer in Brussels
