Investing to make an impact" - EDFI association represents 15 European bilateral development finance institutions that invest in the private sector in emerging and frontier markets to create jobs, boost growth and fight poverty and climate change. They invest in financial services, clean energy, industry and many other sectors in more than 100 countries.

Your mission :

The Senior Communications Specialist will develop and implement the external communications strategy for the EDFI association and will be responsible for its positioning, external communication, and brand alignment as well for the communications plans.

Key responsibilities :

  • Establish and coordinate communications activities for EDFI projects and programmes.
  • Maintain and update EDFI website by adding high-quality content (including website, newsletters, annual report and social media).
  • Ensure overall coherence of the common image with EDFI Management Company through a coordination mechanism.
  • Events. Coordination when acting either as sponsors or attendees.
  • Manage the EDFI Communications Networking Group, composed of CommunicationsManagers from across the EDFI Association’s member organizations.

Required skills and experience :

  • Bachelor-level or higher qualification (preferably in a communications-related field).
  • At least 5 years of experience in external communications, preferably in the field of financial services, government, or business association.
  • Proficiency with graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing (PremierPro or similar) software.
  • Good working knowledge of WordPress and other website content management tools;
  • Good working knowledge of website and social media analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Facebook Insights, Twitter analytics).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in multi-cultural teams and relate to stakeholders.
