Procurement Engineer Civil Works

Your Work Context

From the central purchasing department, you are actively responsible for project related purchases for your assigned medium and large projects.

Your main duties and responsibilities :

• Study multiple and important purchase files.
• Follow up the purchase planning in consultation with the site.
• Creative search for variant solutions.
• Sending out correct and targeted invitations to tender.
• Follow-up and analysis of offers.
• Drawing up clear price comparison tables with a view to the best cost-benefit analysis and covered risk.
• Justifying the choice of a Supplier / Subcontractor.
• Being highly skilled in commercial, technical and contractual negotiations.
• Closely drafting and monitoring contracts.
• Perform these tasks at a worksite in case of procurement for large sites in Temporary Partnership.

Your Role

You have experience in project-based procurement.

You have strong communication skills, are an initiator and enjoy working as part of a team. You are stress resistant, problem solving and efficient. Besides working accurately, analytically and result-oriented, you have sufficient market knowledge and appropriate negotiation skills.

You are employed from our central and easily accessible offices in Hofstade / Aalst and are willing to work occasionally and on a project basis from the site.
