As a Lead Data Analytics & Reporting , you are responsible for developing and managing a reliable, future-proof reporting environment. You play a key role in fostering a data-driven culture by crafting data strategies, streamlining processes, and unlocking valuable insights that support EMPWR’s business objectives.

Your Responsibilities :

Data Architecture and Strategy :

Develop a sustainable data strategy and translate it into a roadmap. Map the current architecture, design new solutions, and build integrated data models.

Reporting and Analysis :

Create and maintain Power BI reports, develop advanced data models, and conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Data Infrastructure Management :

Oversee the reporting infrastructure, including the data lake, ensuring security, integrity, and performance while aligning improvements with the organization’s evolving needs.

Stakeholder Management :

Collaborate with business units to translate reporting needs into technical specifications and maintain close cooperation with external partners and support teams.

Training and Knowledge Sharing :

Implement a Power BI training plan to empower end-users, share new insights within the team, and stay updated on the latest trends in data analytics.

Project Management :

Lead new reporting projects and ensure seamless integration of reports with systems like SAP, minimizing user disruption.

Team Coaching :

Manage the Power BI development team, guide junior members, and promote best practices in data analytics and reporting.

Reporting and Growth Opportunities :

You report to the Application Manager and collaborate with stakeholders across EMPWR. As the Data & Analytics team expands, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead a dedicated team.

Profile

Experience and background :

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related field.

You have experience in a similar role. Implementing a data vision and strategy in a comparable context is a strong asset.

You have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

You are knowledgeable in data management, data analysis / modeling, data governance, and creating reports and dashboards.

You have a solid background in data management and experience managing data infrastructures, particularly data lakes.

Experience with Azure Data Lake and Power BI is preferred.

Experience in a production environment is a significant advantage.

You are a strong team player, demonstrating flexibility by collaborating effectively with diverse team members. You are willing to negotiate and make compromises to ensure the team’s success. You frequently take the initiative to support others and foster a positive, inclusive team environment.

You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

You have a good command of Dutch. Proficiency in English is a strong asset.
