Senior Process Engineer

Role Context :

For our Antwerp / Ghent office we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer!

As a Senior Process Engineer you will fulfill a crucial role in projects in the (petro)chemical & refinery industry. You will act as an interface with the other engineering disciplines.

You'll be :

• Participating in the design of a process unit chemical, petrochemical & pilots
• Providing guidance to less experienced process engineers
• Developing, reviewing, and approving process flow diagrams and heat and material balances to define project scope
• Reviewing and approving datasheets for process equipment
• Preparing specifications and operating parameters for process, piping, and instrumentation equipment.
• Calculating and organizing data for PFD's and P&ID's
• Co-developing process control narratives and cause & effect diagrams
• Performing hydraulic calculations for fluid and vapor circuits
• Preparing sizing calculations for pressure relieving designs
• Participating in planning, cost estimating, and scheduling for projects
• Maintaining effective communication with project team members and clients
• Developing, reviewing, and approving simulation models for a process unit
• Leading a project, implying responsibility over planning, manpower, and quality
