The Finance Manager will ensure a solid financial foundation and continuously enhance the company’s financial performance. This involves managing financial operations, preparing and monitoring budgets, analyzing data, and providing strategic support to the management team.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in a financial field with relevant work experience.
  • Excellent command of Dutch, English, and French, both written and spoken.
  • Strong IT skills, preferably experience with Business Central.
  • In-depth knowledge of Belgian accounting standards (BE GAAP) and IFRS.
  • Analytical thinking, critical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented and decisive.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, with proven leadership and motivational skills.

Your responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze financial data.
  • Prepare reports and financial analyses.
  • Manage and align the financial strategy with business goals.
  • Optimize financial processes and contribute to business improvements.
  • Oversee cash management and prepare budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard company assets.
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as banks and auditors.
  • Lead and coach the finance team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Provide HR support related to legislation, payroll, and related matters.
  • Report to the Managing Director.
